In this role you’ll get to:
- Gain familiarity with the companies’ battery systems by executing manual and automated System Tests to validate the control software
- Reporting test results and defects using IBM Doors and Jira in a timely manner
- Assist in the development and running of Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) test rigs
- Contribute to the System Test department’s overall objectives and KPIs, including increased test automation and test framework development
- Liaise with other departments as required when assisting in software debugging, supporting environmental testing and other ad-hoc testing activities
Requirements
Skills, education and requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position within an automotive software testing environment (CAN/LIN/J1939 systems)
- Qualified to ISTQB Foundation level
- 2-3 years’ direct manual and automated testing experience with Vector CANoe or Canalzyer
- Experience of bug reporting via Jira, Bugzilla or similar.
- Use of IBM Doors or similar for requirements and test result management.
- Verifiable competency in Vector CANoe simulation development and CANoe Test Module development with CAPL, including COM server use
- Must have excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using MS Office
