Test Development Engineer -High Voltage Batteries
JWR Employment Specialists are excited to be working with a rapidly growing battery technology company in Galway, Ireland to recruit a Test Development Engineer -High Voltage Batteries.

Please note this role is fully onsite in Claregalway.
What will the role involve?
- Manage test data generated from battery power, thermal & environmental testing.
- Identify key performance metrics and monitor live testing.
- Manage core data architecture – ensure engineering and field test data is accessible and up to date.
- Work with telematics systems to identify machine learning/AI opportunities for future development.
- Engage in testing activities (material, power, thermal and environment testing) as required to enhance understanding and engage with the product and systems interactions
Skills, Education and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in a High Voltage Battery or Mechanical Engineering Environment
- Instrumentation, data acquisitioning and monitoring systems.
- Experience with Solid works CAD systems
- Capable with Python or similar programming languages
- Familiar & comfortable with applied maths, statistics, probability & machine learning techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
- Good team player with great communication skills.
- Self-motivated
